Double-brushed ribbed viscose jersey
Introducing the cosiest of fabrics. It's double-brushed to make it slightly fuzzy on both sides for maximum warmth and coziness, super stretchy due to the ribbing and has a lovely soft drape as it's a viscose. It's honestly a game-changer.
Marjorie Linen/Viscose Blend
Marjorie Linen/Viscose Blend
This is Marjorie - a painterly floral with lovely bright colours all set against a dark background. It's a linen/viscose mix, so perfect for any garments that need a little bit of structure but that would benefit from a bit of 'swish'.

From a distance you see leopard print, but up close it's actually super cute faces. This is a beautiful quality cotton sweatshirting which has a lovely brushed texture on the reverse - perfect for those cooler days.
Tencel denim 8.3oz
Tencel denim 8.3oz
Tencel denim is a bit of a special cloth - it has weight to it but moves and drapes like a viscose. It would be ideal for denim dresses, pinafores and trousers which would benefit from a fluid drape.

Tanya Brooman, Bornella Fabrics founder, says: “We are so excited to be part of the Indie Biz Village at The Stitch Festival because it’s a great opportunity to remind lots of makers that sustainability doesn’t have to be boring – this sentiment is at the heart of everything we do. At the show, we’ll be launching our newest design, Superbloom! A riot of colour and flowers, much like a garden in the height of summer, the pattern was designed by the incredible Sholto Drumlanrig, who has produced print designs for Liberty, Dashwood, Boden, Next and Barbour. Superbloom is available in three distinct colourways, on 100% cotton poplin and OEKO TEX certified, so it’s perfect for dressmaking as well as other crafts.” Superbloom Fabric, £8 per half metre.
