Join contemporary needlepoint designer Emily Peacock and the team from Appletons Wool and take part in our brand-new Interactive Needlepoint Cross Stitch feature on stand J94.
We’re installing a two-metre-wide cross stitch wall where visitors can add stitches to Emily Peacock’s colourful design. The stitching will develop as the show goes on and we can’t wait to see the final creation, made by the Stitch Festival community!
Appletons Wool are passionate about British Wool and supporting the UK textile industry. They sell wool in 425 colours (and in two weights) as well as a range of kits, on which they’ve collaborated with British designers, including Emily Peacock.
Emily’s contemporary designs are known throughout the world; she designed Appleton’s ‘popular portraits’ range which takes pride of place in stores such as Liberty of London.
Appleton’s look forward to encouraging visitors to try stitching (with wool!) in a collaborative way, an opportunity to contribute to a one-off Emily Peacock design which will result in an eye-catching installation.
