The Instagram Makers Catwalk
The Instagram Makers Catwalk was hosted by journalist, colour and craft expert, Momtaz Begum-Hossain.
We asked some of our independent pattern company and fabric companies to reach out to their customers and we had an amazing response. Our Catwalk hosted some of your favourite brands including Dove Tailed Patterns, Maven Patterns, Sew Different, Sew me Something, Sew Over it, The Makers Atelier, Fabric Godmother, Emporia Fabrics and Rosenburg /Stitch Fabrics.
Each pattern company asked five of their Instagram fans to come and model a garment made from their patterns/fabric. We’ve had a terrific response and saw 45 brave makers bravely modelling their creations. These were regular people, like any one of us showing clothes they’ve made for themselves.
Join us and watch brave sewists model the garments they have made from some of the successful Independent Pattern Companies and Fabric retailers. You will see how easy some of these fabulous garments are to make and how fantastic they look on ‘normal’ people! Be prepared to whoop and cheer as these makers model their own versions of these popular patterns.
