Barna Cottage Needle Wallet Sewing Kit
Hand sew an idyllic thatch cottage needle wallet based on the Irish croft houses. It has extra space for your small scissors and thread inside. Best made from wool blend felt, this pretty needle book is generously sized for us keen stitchers – with space for lots of needles! You will discover how to best hand stitch felt, some simple construction techniques and how to incorporate stiffening and magnets to add a professional finish.
The twisted felt thatch roof is the star attraction and is such fun to do, it really gives this project the wow factor. You can add as much or as little extra decoration as you like, I’ve added flowers to the front, plant pots at the back and a little cat named Shamrock on the pocket inside.
The finished cottage is Ideal as a gift for those non-stitchers who just sew on the occasional button!

Bursting Beach Hut Box Sewing Kit
Bursting with your sewing supplies this nautical beach hut will pop open when the ‘roof’ lid is removed to reveal a place to store your bits and bobs!
Made from striped ticking and stiffened with card and pelmet Vilene this cute box is such fun to make, it can be entirely hand sewn, part machined or even get out the glue if you want a quick solution!
Each side of the box flaps open to reveal a fishy needle wallet, an ice cream scissor pouch, an anchor clip holder, elastic straps for threads etc and standing proud in the centre is our super felt seagull stood on a wooden (felt) post with a tiny place to store your thimble.
